Seagate Discwizard Does Not Detect Drive

Dell XPS 9100 Does not Recognize New 3 TB Internal Hard Drive. It appears that the Intel ICH10R SATA AHCI Controller does not have an available driver update new enough to overcome the 2 TB barrier. I installed later SATA AHCI Controller drivers that were not specifically ICH10R related, but still no drive.

I attempted that already as well. The difficult drive is usually known on another computer. I only possess two usb ports and I can plug my iPod into either óf them ánd it's identified just fine. I've furthermore tried using the usb wire that came with my difficult drive to link my mobile phone to my personal computer and it can observe my telephone as nicely.

So I installed a seagate barracuda 3TB on my rig and at first didn't fully detected the entire space hence prompting me to install the the their application which made the rig detect the rest of the vacant hard drive space so what happens if I reformat the harddrive or SSD where the discwizard software is installed and I have put a lot of data on the seagate drive? Does it disappear? This can make certainly no feeling. That's what I find so strange about this. It seems like it can't end up being the difficult drive because it works fine on another pc. But it also appears like it can't end up being my pc because it can see other equipment just fine. I attempted that currently as well. The tough drive will be known on another personal computer. I only have two usb slots and I can connect my ipod device into either óf them ánd it's known just fine. I've also tried using the usb cord that emerged with my hard drive to link my cell phone to my computer and it can find my cell phone as well.

For those fascinated, I believed I'd write-up what I discovered last evening w/ this tough drive.Number one, know that this has been driving me insane. All of my documents are usually on this tough drive. Imagine being capable to access your data files from everyone else's computer, but not from your very own.I had been playing around in Device Manager, unplugging and replugging the tough drive. Lastly I discovered that aIthough it wásn't listed under Storage Memory sticks or Removable Storage, it has been outlined under USB controllers. It had a little times on the image. Upon correct clicking it I discovered that it had somehow turn out to be disabled on my pc.
